Sure, you’ve seen the clip of the USC football team signing “Lean on Me” during summer training camp. And it’s cool, we like it, too. We really do. But it’s nothing compared to this clip of Carroll warming up for that sonata by tickling the ol’ ivories. Not only is he good — seriously, listen to a couple of those runs — he exudes that special brand of non-chalant cool that has helped turn USC into the kind of program that guts out wins over Ohio State on the road … then promptly falls to a Washington team that went winless last year.
