Six Overtimes, Two Teams, One Epic Game

March 31, 2009 – 7:55 am

When the nightcap of the Big East Conference quarterfinals kicked off, there was always a chance that the matchup between UConn and Syracuse would turn into a great game. But no one could have possibly anticipated six overtimes, the second longest game in college basketball history, one buzzer-beater overturned, another to earn another overtime and, well, more incredibly epic plays than you can fit onto one highlight reel, even if the nonstop best hits still last nearly four-and-a-half minutes. The most amazing thing? You can watch this clip over and over and over, and it just never gets old.
