Troy Polamalu, Steelers Get Up to Get Down

If anyone’s ever doubted the worth of Pittsburgh’s Troy Polamalu, Thursday’s season opener should have answered those doubts. Not only did Polamalu wreak havoc all over the field before leaving with a bruised knee injury, he also pulled down one of the more ridiculous interceptions you’ll ever see. Usually, when a quarterback throws up a jump ball, the receiver is supposed to win that battle. Not when Polamalu is involved.
