We’re Campaigning for Monsterpiece Theater: Twin Beaks

The enormously entertaining Huffington Post comedy page 23/6 (Full disclosure, we’re shills) is currently running a poll asking you to help decide the best “Sesame Street TV Show Parody of All Time.” It’s a heated competition and we had a tough time deciding. We love the 1980s classic “Miami Mice” because it has Kermit the Frog and Philip Michael Thomas gags, but the recent “30 Rocks” take-off is also awesome because it features a bespectacled lemon.
Our favorite, though, is “Twin Beaks.” This Lynchian bit of Sesame Street madness has it all: pie-eating, a talking log, David “Finch,” and the immortal line “They all have two beaks, but they no like to talk.”
